Licence Agreement
This is the agreement that governs the application itself: what you may install it on, what you may do with what comes out of it, and the few things you may not do. It is written to be read once and understood, not to be impressive.
Last updated 25 September 2026
1. What you are granted
On payment, EYU LABS grants you a permanent, non exclusive, non transferable licence to install and use EYU SUITS on the number of machines your tier allows, for as long as you like.
Permanent means permanent. The version you hold when your update window closes does not expire, lose features, or start asking you for money. It keeps working.
One thing it does do: EYU SUITS confirms with our activation service and our payment provider that your licence is still valid, when the key is first entered and at least once every fourteen days after that. It works offline in between; after fourteen days without a connection it asks to reconnect before carrying on. That check carries the key and a machine identifier and nothing else. It is how a licence for two machines stays a licence for two machines.
2. How many machines
Your key carries a number of activations. Personal covers one machine, Studio three, and Founding five, plus any extra devices you bought with it. A machine (a “device” on our pricing page) means one physical or virtual computer.
They are yours to arrange as you like: a desktop and a laptop, a work machine and a home machine, a render box in another room. If you replace a machine, release the old one in Settings first, or write to us and we will free the slot.
You may not run EYU SUITS on more machines than your tier covers. That is the limit you bought and it is the one thing this agreement asks you to respect. EYU SUITS confirms the count with our payment provider periodically, and a key found running beyond its allowance may be suspended until it is back inside it. If you need more machines, buy a tier or an expansion that covers them, or write to us.
3. What you may make with it
Everything the application produces is yours. Every file it writes, every transcript, every export, at every tier including the free trial. We claim no interest in your output and no credit on it.
You may use what you make commercially. You may sell it, broadcast it, put it behind a paywall, or hand it to a client, and you do not owe us a royalty, an attribution or a mention.
One qualification, and it is not about us. The application does not give you rights in material you did not have rights in beforehand. Pointing a tool at somebody else's footage does not make it yours.
What is not a qualification: the models. Every model in EYU SUITS is published under a licence that permits commercial use, and we keep it that way on purpose. Two have been removed for failing that test. You do not owe a royalty to us, to a model author, or to anyone else, on anything you make.
4. Using it for client work
Yes. A licence is per person and per machine, not per project or per client. You may use it on paid work all day. What you may not do is install it on your client's machine on your licence and leave it there; they need their own.
5. Companies and teams
A Studio licence may be held by a company and installed on as many machines as it covers, three, or up to six with extra devices, that the company controls. Everyday use by employees of those machines is covered. If you need more than that, write to us rather than buying several keys, and we will sort out something sensible.
6. What you may not do
- Share, resell, sublicense, rent or publish your key. It is yours.
- Install it on more machines than your tier allows, or work around the activation count in any way.
- Extend, reset or repeat the free trial in order to keep using EYU SUITS without buying a licence.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the application, except to the precise extent the law where you live says you may despite this clause, and except for the open source components inside it, whose own licences permit it and override this line. Those components, and how to get their source, are on our Open Source Licences page.
- Remove or alter the copyright notices, the name, or the marks inside the application.
- Repackage the application, or any part of it, as your own product or as part of one.
- Run it as a hosted service that other people submit files to. It is a local application; turning it into a website is a different product and not one you have bought.
7. The trial
During the trial the same agreement applies, minus the payment. Every tool is unlocked and nothing is withheld. When the trial ends, carrying on requires a licence key.
Whatever you made while trying it is yours and stays yours. Files written during the trial are unaffected by it ending, carry no watermark, and are covered by the same grant of rights as anything made on a paid licence.
The trial runs once per person, and it is offered so that you can decide whether to buy. Resetting it, reinstalling to start it again, altering the clock or the stored trial state, using a fresh machine identity for each new trial, or any other way of continuing past 14 days without paying, is not use of a trial. It is use without a licence, and this agreement does not permit it.
8. Updates and what happens after your window
New versions released inside your update window are covered by this agreement and are yours on the same terms. When the window closes you keep everything you have. Nothing is removed, disabled, or held to ransom.
9. Ownership
EYU SUITS, its source, its design and its name belong to EYU LABS. This agreement licenses use and transfers no ownership. Components licensed from others remain theirs, on their terms.
10. Your files
Yours, entirely and at every moment. The application processes them on your machine and sends them nowhere. We have no copy and no access, so there is nothing here for us to claim a right over even if we wanted one.
11. Ending it
This agreement ends if you breach it in a serious way and do not put it right within thirty days of us asking in writing. On ending, stop using the application and remove it from your machines.
You may end it at any time by uninstalling. Ending it does not by itself entitle you to a refund; the Refund Policy covers when one is due.
12. No warranty, and the limit on what we owe
The application is supplied as it is. To the fullest extent the law permits, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and our total liability under this agreement is limited to what you paid for the licence.
Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded is not excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
13. Law
Governed by the law of the place EYU LABS is established. If you are a consumer, the mandatory law of where you live still protects you.
14. Questions
If something here is unclear, or your situation does not fit any of it, write to us. We would rather answer than have you guess.
