Refund Policy
There are no refunds on licence keys, apart from the cases below and any your own consumer law gives you. The trial is why: every tool is unlocked for 14 days, with no card and no account, so you can find out whether it works on your machine before any money changes hands.

1. No refunds
Once a licence key has been issued it cannot be refunded. Not for changing your mind, not for buying without trying it first, not for buying the wrong tier, and not because a machine turned out not to meet the requirements published on the download page.
None of this takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. Where that law gives you a right to cancel a purchase or to a refund that this policy does not, that right applies.
A key is not a thing that can be handed back. The moment it reaches you it can be used, and there is no way for us to know whether it has been. We would rather say this plainly before you buy than be vague about it and argue afterwards.
2. Which is why the trial is real
The trial is not a demonstration with the interesting parts taken out. It is the whole application, every tool, no watermark on anything you export, for 14 days.
Install it. Give it the job you have been putting off. Check the speed on your own graphics card. Make sure the format you need comes out the other end. If it does not do what you need, do not buy it. That is a good outcome and it is exactly what the trial is for.
3. If you paid and received nothing
These are not refunds of a working licence. They are money taken for something that never reached you, and it goes back.
- You were charged twice. The duplicate is returned. You do not have to argue for it.
- Your key never arrived and we cannot get one to you. If delivery fails and we cannot put it right, you have paid for nothing.
- The key will not activate and we cannot make it work. Tell us, give us a fair chance to fix it, and if we cannot, the payment is returned.
4. Who takes the payment
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for every sale. They take the payment, they handle the tax, and the charge on your statement is theirs. Anything returned is processed by them, goes back to the card you paid with, and can take five to ten working days to appear.
Lemon Squeezy operates its own buyer protection policy alongside this one. Where theirs gives you more than ours does, theirs applies.
5. Chargebacks
Write to us before going to your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the amount, takes weeks, and reaches the same answer more slowly than an email does.
A licence key that becomes the subject of a chargeback is deactivated, because the purchase behind it has been reversed.
6. How to write to us
Use the address on our contact page. Include your order number and what happened. You do not need to write formally or quote a clause. Tell us plainly and we will read it that way.
