Extract frames from a video
Extract frames saves a still every so many seconds into a folder of its own. It is a quick way to make a contact sheet, find a thumbnail, or pull reference images out of long footage.
What it does
- An interval anywhere from half a second to a minute.
- A cap on how many frames it saves, up to 500.
- Every frame saved as a PNG.
What you can set
- Every: the gap between frames, 0.5 to 60 seconds.
- At most: the largest number of frames to save, 5 to 500.
Works with
Video (MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, WEBM, M4V, MPG, WMV and FLV).
How it works
- 01Open the file in EYU SUITS: drop it anywhere in the window, or press Choose a file.
- 02Pick Extract frames from the tools listed beside it, and change the settings if you want to. The defaults are a sensible start.
- 03Press Run. The result is saved to your EYU SUITS folder, and the original is left as it was.
